I seek resonance that rises with my becoming, becoming.
The endless unfurling of who I am.

This studio exists because I refuse to mute myself.
Where I Come From
My artist self began in childhood.
Creativity was my first act of freedom.
I’ve always been making things.
I’ve always been seeing the world sideways, through color, shape, and story.
I knew: art was the place where I could breathe and be myself.
The Lineage That Made Me
My grandfather, Tåtan Long, Jesus Muña Guzman set me up at the big kitchen table and handed me pencils and a sheet of brown grocery‑bag paper he had cut open into a giant canvas.
He said: “Draw whatever you want.” and patted me on the shoulder.
That was my first permission.
My first declaration of autonomy.
My first understanding that imagination is a territory where no one can control me and no one can take from me.
I drew an underwater world; fish, movement, depth. It was a whole ecosystem beneath the surface.
I didn’t know it then, but that moment shaped everything I am doing now.
This studio is an extension of that table.
This blog is the continuation of that permission.
Si Yu’os ma’åse’ Tåtan Long.
What I Stand For
I stand for truth-telling.
I stand for art that sees power as relational.
I stand for lineage, memory, and identity as sources of strength.
I stand for the right to take up space.
I stand for creating a world where we thrive.
My work is not neutral.
My voice is not neutral.
My presence is not neutral.
And I refuse to make them so.
