Building a Thriving World

This public space gives my art a place to exist outside the studio walls. I want to have the opportunity to create a safe space to connect with others who are interested in art, in becoming a truer version of themselves and building a community of like minded people.

Living a Thriving Life came about from the current situation I find myself in within our society. It is designed for regular people to struggle. I believe we all deserve to thrive, this is the world I am building and this blog is one step I am taking.

I found language for this through the work of Beth Green also known as Granny Rocks. Her book Living with Reality offered a clarity I couldn’t figure out was missing. When we talked about the blog, Beth brought up Platform 9: Becoming, Becoming. It named the ongoingness of healing, the way we cross thresholds again and again, the way life keeps asking us to turn toward truth. This rang true to me and it fits with the focus and energy of the art studio. I don’t know where this will take me, but I am here for the becoming, becoming.

There is more to life than struggle.
